Benjamin Frankenfield
Benjamin Frankenfield a retired farmer of Bethlehem Township died Monday e vening at his late residence at Farmersville, in the eighty-fourth ye ar of his age. Death was due to paralysis, with which he was stricken la st Friday, two weeks after both he and his wife had celebrated their sixti eth wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter in Lower Saucon. T he deceased was born in New York State on December 24, 1824. Mr. Frankenf ield was engaged in farming up to about twenty years ago, when he retir ed from his avocation. He leaves his widow, Sabina, and five children: Ja cob I. of West Bethlehem, Isaac, of Bethlehem; Mrs. William Herman and Mr s. Andrew Uhler, of Lower Saucon and Mrs. Alice Koch, of Nazareth; 31 gran dchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Josiah Seifert of Bethlehem and Mrs. Eliza beth Sloyer, of Tatamy. The deceased had been unconscious since the stro ke on Friday. The funeral will take place from his late residence on Satu rday at 10 A.M. and will proceed to St. John's Union church at Farmersvill e, where services will be held, the Rev. J.A. Klick officiating. Interme nt will be made in the family plot in the cemetery near the church.
