Born in Lower Nazareth, March 30, 1849, a son of the late Pet er and Levina Kemmerer Frankenfield, he was a member of the Dryland Luther an congregation, Hecktown. He was a retired farmer. Three grandchildr en and one great-grandchild survive. Rude Frankenfield, retired farmer of Nazareth R. 1, died at 8:30 o'clock y esterday morning at his home, aged 89 years, 9 months and 9 days. He w as born in Lower Nazareth township, Northampton county, a son of the la te Peter and Levina, nee Kemmerer, Frankenfield. He was preceded in dea th in May, 1938, by his wife, Edna, nee Dewalt, Frankenfield. The only su rvivors are three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral servic es will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from his late home, with continued serv ices in the Dryland Lutheran church at Hecktown, of which he was a membe r.
