John E. Olpp Sr., 78, of 1000 Kings Highway, Port Charlotte Village, Po rt Charlotte, Fla., died Saturday, Aug. 31, in Integrated Health Servic es Nursing Home, Port Charlotte. He was the husband of Gladys A. (Pearso n) Olpp. A member of the United Auto Workers of America, he was an assemb ly line worker at Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, for 38 years until retiri ng in 1974. Born in Seidersville, he was a son of the the late John M. a nd Anna (Frankenfield) Olpp. He was a former member of College Hill Moravi an Church, Bethlehem. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wi fe; son, John E. Jr. of Bethlehem; daughter, Nancy J., wife of Harold Fri tz of Fort Meyers, Fla.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, fi ve step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-g reat-grandchildren. Services: To be announced, Pearson Funeral Home, Bethl ehem.
