Mrs. Sabina Knecht
Sabina, widow of the late Christian Knecht, of Nazareth, was found de ad at her home on New Street, Bath Borough, this morning.
The discovery of the corpse was made by john Ginther, of carpenter, w ho at 6:45 AM, was going to work. The indications are that the aged la dy suffered a stroke of apoplexy well while alone last evening.
Her body was found in the rear porch in the sitting posture. Nearby w as a washbasin which had evidently fallen from her hand.
The lamp in the house was still burning at her bed had not been disturbed.
Mrs. Knect, was about 70 years of age, and resided alone. Her sister, Mar ie Ann Meyers, visited her yesterday. She was the daughter of the long si nce deceased Abraham Myers, of Palmer township. She leaves two sisters, M rs. Anna M. Meyers, of Palmer township, and Mrs. Reuben D. Johnson, of Naz areth. Coroner Keim of Bethlehem, was notified of the death.
The funeral will take place on Saturday morning at 9:30 AM, at the house w ith services in St. John?s Church and interment in St. John ?s cemetery, N azareth, Pa.
