Benjamin Abel
Benjamin Abel, for many years a resident of Palmer Township,
died Tuesday at the Sacred Heart hospital, Allentown, following
an operation for hernia. He had been ill for the past seventeen
weeks, and was admitted to the institution on Sunday evening.
He was 82 years of age.
Mr. Abel's wife passed away in 1902, and a brother and sister
preceded him death five months ago. He is survived by one
daughter, Edna E. Abel, at home; one step-daughter, Mrs.
Robert Laubach, of Nazareth, and one brother, William Abel,
of Morristown, N.J.
Funeral services will be held from his late residence on
Sunday afternoon at 1:30 with further services in St. john's
Reformed Church, Nazareth. Interment in the Hecktown cemetery. |
