John J. Bunstein
John J. Bunstein, of 25 South Seventeenth Street, died at 10:15 this morning at the Easton Hospital, of apoplexy, aged 52 years. He was taken ill last Tuesday, became unconscious on Saturday evening and on Sunday morning at 10o’clock was taken in the ambulance to the hospital. He died without regaining consciousness.

Mr. Bunstein was a native of Easton and was a son of the late Michael and Mary Bunstein. He is survived by his wife and four sisters – Mrs. Stewart Cougle, Mrs. Howard King, Mrs. Frank Long, and Mrs. Harry Phillips, all of Easton. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

The deceased was employed as an engineer on the Lehigh Valley railroad for a number of years. He resigned in 1894. His last employment was as a health officer of Palmer Township and an inspector for the State Board of Health.
