Jennie M. Barr
Mrs. Jennie M. Barr, 72, of 331 W. Berwick St., died yesterday
morning in Easton hospital where she had been a patient since
Oct. 5. She had been ill for several months.
Born in Easton May 26, 1894, she was a daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bunting.
Mrs. Barr, the wife of Clarence L. Barr, was a member of Christ
Evangelical United Brethren Church, Triple City Lodge No. 69
ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and
Enginemen and the Ladies Auxiliary of Avona Fire. Co.
Survivors include a daughter, Edith Ritter, At home, two stepsons,
Clarence L. Barr Jr., Forks Township, and Martin R. Barr, Easton,
a sister Ann, Nazareth and five grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.
Services will be at the Strunk Funeral Home at 11 A.m. Wednesday. |
