Raymond A. Buss Jr., 69, of 6 E. Mountain Road, Allentown, died Wednesday in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. He was the husband of Anita M. (Wagner) Buss. They were married 30 years in April.

He worked in the electrical department at Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 42 years, retiring in 1983.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Raymond A. Sr. and Laura A. (Brader) Buss.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a barbershop quartet singer for many years, and participated in area competitions.

Survivors: Wife; son, Jeffrey A. of Catasauqua; brothers, Kenneth L. and Robert C., and sister, Mrs. Ellen E. Julian, all of Bethlehem.

Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. No calling hours. Arrangements, Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
