Mrs. Clyde E. Huff
Mrs. Helen Irene Buttner Huff, 59, of 326 St. John St., died at 3 a.m. today in an ambulance enroute to Easton Hospital, after being stricken at her home.
Mrs. Huff was the wife of Clyde E. Huff. Born in South Easton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Tillie Kieffer Buttner.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Porter PTA, Dame of Malta, Protector Club of the Dames of Malta, and William Parsons Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She was a member and secretary of Senior Jacksonian Women's Democratic Club.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Dorothy, Wife of Robert Fox, Philipsburg, and Hope Marie, wife of Anthony Ferri, East Bangor; two sisters, Mary, wife of Clayton Hagenbuch, Easton R.D. 4, and Beulah, Wife of Charles Kandle, Easton R.D. 4; four brothers, Walter and Charles Buttner, both of Easton R.D. 4 and Edgar and Willard, both of Toledo, Ohio, and nine grandchildren. A brother, Samuel, died last June. She also leaves nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Curran Funeral Service Home, Wilson. |
