Willard O. Buttner Sr., headed Ohio business
Willard O. Buttner, Sr., 65 of Fries Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, died Nov. 21 in Medical College Hospital, Toledo.
A native of Easton, he was president of Ace Auto Parts Inc., Toledo, for the past 22 years, and had been in business with his late brother, Edgar, since he was 16. he was a son of the late Frank and Tillie Kiefer Buttner.
Mr. Buttner was president and a life member of the Adams Conservation Club and a founder o the Bowman Archery Club, both of Toledo.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church; Harbor Light Lodge, F&AM; Scottish Rite and Zenobia Shrine Temple, all of Toledo. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Buttner; a son ***** and two daughters, ***** and Mrs. ******, all of Toledo; a brother, Charles, and a sister, Mrs. Beulah Kandl, both of Easton, and six grandchildren.
Services were held Friday. Interment was in Ottaw Hills Memorial Park, Toledo |
