Martin Van Buren Brotzman died at 5:30 o’clock this morning at his home, corner of Coal and Lincoln streets, South Side, of a complication of diseases. He was sixty-three years of age and is survived by his wife and two children, Jacob and Hattie Brotzman, also by the following step-daughters, Mrs. James Snyder, Mrs. Frank Labold, Mrs. Thomas Fischler, Mrs. Charles Barnes, of the South Side, and Mrs. John Kennedy, of Philadelphia, also by one sister, Mrs. Alex Lum, of Glendon, The deceased served in Company l, ninety-seventh Pennylvania Volunteers. The deceased was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church.
