Samuel E. Coken
Samuel E. Coken, a former resident of this city, died at 7:30
o'clock Friday night at his home in Webb City, Mo. at the age
of 54 years. A telegram announcing his death was received Saturday
by his sister, Mrs. Joseph Vogel, of 488 Wilkes-Barre Street,
but the cause of his death was not announced. Mr. Coken left
Easton about 25 years ago, and was employed at Webb City by
the Diamond Drill Company. In addition to his sister he is
survived by a brother, Jacob Coken, of Williams Township. He
was a member of of the Second M. E. Church. The body is expected
to arrive here Wednesday afternoon.
