Samuel Cole, 54, Railroad Brakeman Dies In Warwick, N.Y.
Samuel Cole, 54, of 377 Bates Street, Phillipsburg, died this morning in St. Anthony’s Hospital, Warrick, N.Y. He was a brakeman on the Lehigh and Hudson Railroad, and was stricken Wednesday night, while at work at Maybrook, N.Y., and was removed to the hospital where he underwent an operation. He was employed by that company for 38 years.

Mr. Cole was a member of Phillipsburg Lodge, No. 395, B. P. O. Elks, and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, at Warwick. He was a son of Mrs. Emma Vogel Cole, of Phillipsburg, and the late George Cole.

Besides his mother, he is survived by a son, Norman Cole, of Easton; two sisters, Miss Ida Cole and Mrs. William Williamson, both of Phillipsburg, and one grandchild.
