Franklin E. Cyphers
Franklin E. Cyphers, 67, of Driftwood Trailer Court, Easton
R.D. 1, was dead on arrival Satruday in Easton Hospital after
he was stricken at home.
He was a guard at the Dixie Cup Co, American Can Co., Wilson,
retiring in 1975, after serveral years of service. He formerly
worked for Taylor-Wharton Co., Palmer Township.
Born in Nazareth on Sept. 30, 1912, he was a son of the late
John B. and Cornelia Fehr Cyphers.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wilson.
His first wife, the former Ella N. Marquardt, died in 1948.
Surviving are his wife, the former Hazel M.E. Heit; a son,
a daughter,
two step sons, a brother Joseph of Wilson; a sister, Mrs.
Grace Childs, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be hel at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Ashton
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial
Shrine. |
