Mrs. Susan M. Garis
Mrs. Susan M. Garis, widow of Samuel Garis, died Satruday at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert A. Summers, in Philadelphia, aged
near 89 years, The deceased is survived by the following children;
Mrs. Mary Hess of Camden, N.J., William E. Garis of Near Forks Church,
Cornelius Garis of Easton, Charles E. Garis, of Phillipsburg, Mrs.
Summers, Miss Tillie Garis and David Garis of Philadelphia and DR.
F. A. Garis of Bethlehem. The deceased was a native of Easton, the
daughter of the long since deceased Mr. and Mrs. William Eichman,
the latter at one time of the principal merchants of this city. The
remains will be brought to Easton for interment.
