Hiram Fox
Hiram Fox, of Lower Mt. Bethel, was found dead in bed Saturday morning at the house of his sister, Mrs. Thomas Hoppel, in West Bethlehem where he had been living for several years. H worked last fall for farmer Dewalt, near Easton at husking corn and contracting a severe cold. He had been ill and unable to do any work. The cause of his death was attributed to inflammation of the lungs. The deceased was a bachelor and 60 years of age. He is survived by the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Mary Hoppel, of West Bethlehem; Mrs. William Young, of Washington Township; Mrs. Reuben Hess of Roxborough; Mrs. Matilda Teal, of Flemington. N.J. Valentine Fox, of Belvidere; Fred. Fox, of Mt. Pleasant; Jefferson Fox of Nazareth, and Christopher Fox who lives out West.
