Raymond T. Griffith, Was Dixie employe
Raymond T. Griffith, 70, of 511 Northampton St., died yesterday
in Betts Hospital. He was hosptalized a month.
Mr. Griffith was a retired elevator at Dixie Cup. He was employed
there for 35 years.
Born in Easton on June 11, 1888, he was a son of the late
Herbert and Sarah Griffith. He was a veteran of World War I.
He was of the Lutheran Faith. He was a member of Lester W.
Pfeffer Post 611, American Legion, Wilson; Loyal Order of Moose,
Lodge 45, Easton, and Easton Aerie 111, Fraternal order of
Eagles and the Jacksonian Democratic Association.
Survivng are his widow, the former Marvella Herman; two daughers,
Mrs. Francis Gier, Easton, and **** at home;
a son, Raymond B. Griffith, Santa Ana, Calif.; two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Heck Memorial
Home, Easton. |
