Joseph H. Gruver
Joseph H. Gruver, 75, Mountain Road, Hamburg, N.J. died Monday
in Newtown, N.J. Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired farmer.
Born in Monroe County, He was a son of the late Elmer and
Alice Gruver. He lived in Lafayette, N.J., and Monroe County,
Living in Hamburg for the last four years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lillie Arnold; a son,*****.
of Lafayette, N.J.; three daughters, *****
Lafayette; ******, Newton, and *****,
Hamburg; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Eichoff, Bangor, Mrs. Elsie
Bellis, Easton, Mrs. Myrtle Frey, Nazareth, and Mrs. Eva Hoadley,
Glen rock, Wyo. and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Smith-McCracken
Funeral Home, Newton. Interment will be in Frankford Plains
Cemetery, Augusta, N.J
