He was employed by the Michigan State Highway Department as an inspector. Born in Easton, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Heavener. Surviving are his wife, two sons, a daughter, four brothers, Wilson and Melvin both of Easton; Carl of Harrisburg, Pa., and ***** of Vineland, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Correll, Easton, and four grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at the Proctor Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Mich.
