Edith Carty Fichtel
Edith Carty Fichtel, of 2475 Morgan Hill Road, Williams Township,
died Sunday in Easton Hospital.
She was employed by the former American Can Co., Dixie Cup
Division, Wilson, for 30 years until retiring. Before that,
she worked for the former Chipman Knitting Mills, West Easton.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Paul Helms
and Minnie Brennen Helms Merrick.
Mrs. Fitchtel was a member of St. John's Lutheran church,
Williams Township; South Side Senior Citizens Center; ladies
auxiliary of the Williams Township Fire Co. No. 1, and the
Retired Ladies of the Dixie.
Surviving are a son, ******., Easton; seven grandchildren
and a great-granddaughter.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience
of the family under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home,
Easton. |
