Effie E. Scarlett, ambulance dispatcher
Effie E. Scarlett, 83, of Belvidere, died Tuesday, May 26,
in the Care Center of Phillipsburg in Phillipsburg.
She was a dispatcher for the Belvidere Ambulance Corps from
1966 to 1982.
Born Nov 13, 1914 in Portalnd she was a daughter of the late
Russell and Rhoda Hunt Henry.
She was a charter member o First Baptist Church in Belvidere.
Her husband, Floyd, died Oct 16, 1989.
she is survied by a son, Richard of Neschanic; two daughters,
Gayle Williamson and Jaunita Dean, both of Belvidere; seven
grandchldren and nine -great-grandchldren.
A brother, George and a sister Dorothy, died Earlier.
Grraveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in in
Revierview Cemetery in Portland. There will be no clalling
hours. A memorial service will be announce at a lateer date.
Funeral arrangments are under the direction of MacFasdden
Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick St., Belvidere. |
