Burton G Hineline
Burton G. Hineline, 72 of 500 Folk St., was dead on arrival last night
at Easton Hospital where he was taken by the Easton Emergency Squad
after being stricken at home.
Mr. Hineline was a self-employed painting and decorating contractor
until his retirement eight years ago. He was the owner of the Hineline
Apartments at the Folk Street address.
Born June 24, 1896 in Williams Township, he was a son of the late
Thomas and Mary Steckel Hineline.
He was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of St. John's
Lutheran Church, (New Williams) Williams Township, and vice president
of the church's Cemetery Association. He was also a member of Dallas
Lodge 296, F&AM; Tall Cedars of Lebanon No 25; Lehigh Consistory,
Brown and Lynch Post 9, American Legion; VFW Post 1290; the Easton
Fleas Club and the Citizens Hose Club.
Surviving are his widow, the former Grace A Engler; four sons, all
at home; a daughter, Easton; three sisters, Mrs.
Irenaeus Raub, Easton; Mrs. Ethel Helms, Hellertown R.D. 1 and Mrs.
Loras Dutt, Woodbridge Conn. and a brother Ira, Phillipsburg.
The funeral will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in St. John's Church, Williams
Township, the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton is in charge. |
