Kiefer Rites Tuesday
Funeral services for Garner J. Kiefer, 62, who died yesterday at his home, 447 Railroad Avenue, Pen Argyl, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Swoyer funeral home, Pen Argyl.

Mr. Kiefer retired some time ago as a locomotive engineer for the Lehigh and New England Railroad. He had been employed by the railroad about 35 years.

Born in Cressona, pa., he was a son of the late James and Catherine Lamey Kiefer. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen.

Surviving are his wife, Florence Lilly Kiefer; three sons, Gilbert, Llewellyn and Laurence and a daughter, Miss Beatrice Kiefer, all of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Rush, of Bethlehem R. D. 4, and Mrs. Edith Beal, of Hellertown, and two grandchildren.

The Rev. W. E. Pottieger, pastor of Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church, Pen Argyl, will officiate at the services. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl.
