Fatally Hurt in Fall from Coop
Herber Keifer, of Near Bangor, Died at Easton Hosptial of Injuries
Herbert Kiefer, aged 53 years of Bangor R.D. 4, received internal
injuries early last evening when he fell from a chicken coop
at his home He was rushed to the Easton hospital and arrived
at that institution at 7 o'clock. An operation was performed
but Mr. Kiefer died at 8:30.
Mr. Kiefer was on the top of the coop preparing to knock the
structure apart when he slipped and fell on his stomach, receive
injuries which resulted in his death.
Deceased is survived by his wife and by one son, Arling, or
Martin's Creek; also by one sister, Mrs. Milton Butz, of Bangor.
He was a member of the New Lutheran Church at Martin's Creek.
The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon with all
services at the house in charge of Rev. John Reagle and Rev.
H. Snyder. Interment in Chruch Hill Cemtery, Martin's Creek. |
