Mrs. Jennie I. Kiefer
Mrs. Jennie I. Kiefer, 1046Hamilton St., Allentown, died last night at the Sacred Heart Hospital following an illness of several months’ duration.
She was a native of Catasauqua, born a daughter of the late Benjamin F and Henrietta C. Sanders Kiefer. She spent the early years in the Iron Borough, and to a residence in Allentown in 1906.
During her younger years she was a hairdresser. She retired from that worked in 1916. She lived in recent years with a sister, Mrs. Esther Laubach.
She held membership in Seibert EC Church and in the Allentown Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Harry A. Kiefer, Allentown; Mrs. Ralph Snyder, Fullerton; Mrs. Joseph Kane, Mrs. Alice Stoltz and Mrs. Thomas Bord, all of Allentown; Benjamin F. Kiefer, Catasauqua; Mrs. Charles McKay Jr., Philadelphia and Mrs. Esther Laubach. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by three sisters and two brothers. |
