Died of Typhoid Fever
Young Man Who Left Easton With Show Dies In West Virginia
Stanley K. Kiefer, the twenty-two year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kiefer, of 215 South Fourth Street, this city, died at the City Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia, at 6 o’clock last Monday morning of typhoid fever. The body was brought to this city this morning on the Lehigh Valley, arriving her at 11:27 and was accompanied by H. C. Dean secretary of Morgantown Lodge of Moose, No. 121, which had been looking after him while he was in the city.
Deceased left this city with the 101 Ranch show this spring and procured a position as trainmaster with the Sig Sawtell Circus and was acting in that capacity when it was learned by the members of the Moose at Morgantown that he was ill. He was taken to the hospital, where he died. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Charles A. and Russell J. all of this city. He was a member of Easton Lodge, No. 45, L. O.O. M. The Funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home of his parents. |
