David Kline
David Kline, one of the best known and most highly respected
citizens of Mt. Pleasant, Lower Mt. Bethel township, died
at 11 o’clock Sunday morning in the 73rd year of his
age. He is survived by his widow, one son, Orson Kline, of
Mt. Pleasant, and one daughter, Mrs. Clayton Shimer, of Easton,
South Side; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Houck, Mrs. Catherine
Weaver, and Mrs. Matilda Deichman, of Easton; six brothers,
John Kline, of Garwood, N.J.; Isaac, of Monroe County, and
Samuel, Jacob, William A. and Francis Kline, all of Easton.
Deceased was a ember of the New Lutheran Church, Martin’s
Creek. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at
2 o’clock from his late home. Interment in Church Hill
Cemetery.
