Mrs. John M. Dick
Mrs. Ruth K. Dick, 71, of 650 Corliss Ave., Phillipsburg, died
Wednesday in her home.
She was employed as a claims examiner for the New Jersey State
Employment Service, Phillpsburg, until her retirement several
years ago.
Born in Phillipsburg on July 12, 1905, she was a daughter
of the late Harry and Lottie Raub Knauss. She was a lifelong
resident of the Phillipsburg area.
Her husband, John M. Dick, died March 2.
A 1922 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, she was a member
of of Grace Lutheran Church, and its Senior Citizens Friendly
Club, and Delaware Chapter 50, Order of the Eastern Star, all
of Phillipsburg.
She is survived by a niece, Miss ***** Knauss of Hackensack,
N.J.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A foster
daughter, Mrs. Edith Jany, died in June, 1975.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Rupell Funeral
Home, Phillipsburg. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial
Shrine.
