Irene Minnich Miller
Irene Minnich Miller, 96, of Nazareth, Pa., passed away on
Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004 in Gracedale Upper Nazareth Twp.,
Pa.
Born: On December 6, 1907 in Bethlehem Twp., Pa., she was a
daughter of the late Daniel and Sara Knecht. Personal: She was
the wife of the late Walter Minnich who died in 1936, and her
second husband, the late Floyd Miller who died in 1993. Irene
worked as a sales person for Clint Frantz Shoe Store, Gernett's
Shoe Store, and Heller's Grocery Store. She worked as a seamstress
for Herman's and the Army and Navy Store, all in Nazareth. She
graduated from Nazareth High School. Irene enjoyed bingo.
Memberships: She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Nazareth.
Survivors: She is survived by her son, Walter Minnich and his
wife, Gloria of Dunnellon, Fl; a daughter,***** and
her husband ***** of Nazareth; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Roy Knecht, and a sister Eva Schafer died earlier.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, Pa.
Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral
home. Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery, Hecktown, Pa. |
