Edward E. Kunsman, 61, of Bangor R.3, died Monday in Allentown Hospital. He was the husband of Frances T. (Werkheiser) Kunsman. They observed their 39th wedding anniversary in November.

Kunsman was founder and president, since 1973, of Ed Kunsman and Sons Roofing, Bangor.

Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late Calvin and Mary (Ernst) Kunsman.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict.

Survivors: Wife; sons, Kim E. of Easton, Craig A., at home, and Todd L. of Bangor; brothers, Robert of Easton, and William and James, both of Bethlehem; sisters, Elsie Frickert of Center Valley, Helen Warner and Flora Rieger, both of Bethlehem, and Dorothy Kale of Riegelsville, and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Robin.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, James A. Palmeri Funeral Home, Route 611 and Alpha Ave., Martins Creek. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
