Mrs. Joseph Transue
Mrs. Flora S. Transue, 85, of 409 Cattell St., died last night in Easton
Hospital where she was admitted March 9.
Born in Williams Township on Nov 9, 1887, she was a daughter of the
late Milton J. and Lizzie V. Hartzell Kelchner.
Her husband, Joseph Transue, former sealer of weights and measures
in Northampton County, died in 1956.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Farmersville;
American Association of Retired Persons, and the Golden Age Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Loyd Setter, Deer Park, Wis.; a
son, Harold, Deseronto, Ontario, Canada; two grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Katinis Funeral Chapel,
Wilson. Interment will be in Farmersville Cemetery.
