Eleanor I. McBride, 83, formerly of Williams Street, Easton,
died Tuesday, Oct. 20, in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer
Township. She was the wife of the late Lloyd L. McBride.
Years ago, she was employed by the former Shapiro & Sons,
Easton. Previously, she worked for the former Chipman Knitting
Mills, West Easton.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late William Russell
and Margaret (Bunting) Larison.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Easton.
She was a member and past worthy matron of Easton chapter
214, Order of the Eastern Star, life member of Easton Emergency
Squad and a volunteer for Visiting Nurse Association of Easton.
Survivors: Son, Barry L. of Wilson; daughters, Joan E. Fernsler
of Easton and Nancy L. Castelletti of Plainfield Township;
brother George of Palmer Township; sister, Elizabeth Brewer
of Easton, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Strunk Funeral Home, 602 W.
Berwick St., Easton. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday.
