Ralph W. Laros Jr., 75, of Bethlehem Township, Pa.
Born Aug. 23, 1924, in Easton, he was a son of the late Ralph
W. Sr. and Mabel Hausman Laros.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Easton. He served
in the Navy during World War II aboard the battleship USS Wisconsin.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1290 in
Easton and the Brown & Lynch American Legion Post No. 9
in Palmer Township.
He and his wife, the former Jean Messinger, observed their
54th wedding anniversary June 8.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Strunk
Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Easton. Call from 7 to
8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton
Memorial Shrine
Ralph W. Laros Jr., 75, of Bethlehem Township, died Monday,
Aug. 14, in his home. He was the husband of Jean (Messinger)
Laros. They were married 54 years in June.
He was employed by the former Christmas Club A Corp., Forks
Township, before retiring in 1986. Previously, he was employed
by the former Laros Printing Co., Bethlehem Township.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Ralph W. Sr. and
Mabel (Hausman) Laros.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Easton.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the U.S.S.
Wisconsin battleship.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1290, Easton,
and Brown & Lynch American Legion Post 9, Palmer Township.
Survivor: Wife.
