F. Louise Snyder -- nurse at Gracedale
F. Louise Snyder, 76, of Fairview Street, Nazareth, died Thursday,
Aug. 20, in her home. She was a registered nurse at Gracedale,
the Northampton County nursing home, before retiring in 1985.
Previously she was a school nurse in the Nazareth Area School
District.
Born Sept. 14, 1921, in Raubsville, she was a daughter of
the late Dr. Sem G*. and Frances Raub Beck. She was a member
of St. John's Lutheran Church in Nazareth. She was a 1939 graduate
of Nazareth High School. She graduated from Abington Memorial
Hospital as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Green
Pond Ladies GolfingAssociation.
She and her husband, Donald T. "Bud," observed their
51st wedding anniversary in June.
In addition to her husband, she survived by three daughters,
three sisters, Betty Bankert,
of California, Alice Herr of Lancaster, Pa., and Virginia Gold,
of Lewisburg, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in St. John's Lutheran
Church, 200 S. Broad St., Nazareth. Call noon to time of service
Monday in the church. Burial will be in Greenwich Cemetery
in Nazareth. The Schmidt Mortuary, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth,
is in charge of the arrangements. |
