J. Herbert Mack
J. Herbert Mack, 81, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond G. Mack, Pen Argyle R.D.1, with whom he resided.

Mr. Mack was born in Flicksville, a son of the late Jacob and Pauline Schock Mack. He resided in Plainfield Township the last 14 years. Before that he was engaged in farming in Washington Township for many years.

His wife the former, Lizzie Koutz, died in 1933,. Mr. Mack was a member of the Mackey Memorial Baptist Church, Bangor.

Surviving in addition to his son, Raymond G., are two other sons, Earl J., Belvidere, N.J., and Richard F., Bethlehem R.D.1; three daughters, Alberta, wife of Latimer Seibert, Stewartsville, Pearl, wife of William Menhennitt, Riverside, Calif., and Ada, wife of Paul Dunbar, Bangor R.D.2; four sisters, Mrs. Burton Brodt, Easton, Mrs. Frank Myers, Allentown, Mrs. Raymond Cornelius, Mont Bethel R. D., and Mrs. John Datesman, Bangor R. D.3; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Swoyer Funeral Home, Pen Argyl.
