Mrs. Fred Ackerman
Mrs. Maggie M. Ackerman, 82, resident of Hanover Township in Northampton County for 61 years, died Monday in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

A native of Lower Nazareth Township, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Matilda Walters Meixsell. Her husband, Fred E. Ackerman, died 12 years ago.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bath.

Surviving are a son, Roy H. of Bethlehem R.D. 2; a daughter, Mrs. Ray Deck, with who she lived; a brother, William H. Meixsell, Hollywood, Calif; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:40 p.m. Friday in the Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton.
