... LuRee M. Arnold, 92, of Easton, died Sunday, Oct. 11,
in Easton Nursing Center in Easton. She was employed by
Food Fair and Pantry Pride for 20 years and was a lifetime
member of Retail Clerks Union and its successor, U.F.C.W.
Local 1361.
Born Aug. 30, 1906, in East Bangor, she was
a daughter of the late Clarence Meyers and Bertha Good
Meyers Johnson.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church,
where she was a member of the Lutheran Church Women.
She was a past member of AARP and and the Golden Age Club of
St. Anthony's Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by a daughter, Catherine Gioieni of Palmer
Township; two sisters, **** of Palmer Township
and Arlene Sanders* of Phoenix, Ariz.; a grandson and
several nephews.
There will be no calling hours. The Cremation
Society of Pennsylvania is in charge of arrangements. |
