Mrs. G. P. Green, Retired Teacher In Phillipsburg
Mrs. Gladys A. Green, 54, of 1 Water St., Belvidere, a retired
school teacher, died Saturday at Monroe County General Hospital,
East Stroudsburg. She was hospitalized three months.
Mrs. Green was an elementary teacher in Phillipsburg schools
from 1927 to 1944. She taught at the Beers, Lovell, Freeman
and Barber schools.
Born in Belvidere, she was a daughter of Mrs. Stella Good
Miller and the late Philip Miller. She was the wife of George
P. Green.
She was graduated from Trenton Normal School in 1927.
She was a former member of the Woman’s Club, Belvidere.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two
sisters, Mrs. Ethel Fisher and Mrs. Helen Haupt, both of Belvidere.
The funeral will be private. |
