Julia C. Rider, oldest church member
Wilson Borough, PA. Julia C. Rider, 91, of Wilson Borough,
died Friday, Aug. 27, in Easton Hospital.
Born Nov. 15, 1901, in Redington, she was a daughter of the
late John and Emma Raub Miller.
She attended Churchman Business School in Easton.
She was the oldest member of St. John's Lutheran Church in
Williams Township and the Women of St. John's.
She was a member of the auxiliary of Lester W. Pfeffer, American
Legion Post 611. She was also a member of the Dorcas Class
of Memorial United Church of Christ in Wilson Borough.
Her husband, Leroy, died in 1979.
She is survived by a daughter,
a son, and three grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Strunk Funeral
Home, 2101 Northampton St. Wilson Borough. Burial will be in
St. John's Union Cemetery in Williams Township.
