J. Ilgin Morris, Former Partner in Casket firm
J. Ilgin Morris, 77, former partner in the old Bangor Casket Co., died yesterday at 4:15 p.m. in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Mr. Morris was admitted to the hospital earlier in the day after suffering a heart attack at his home in Flicksvile, Bangor R.D. He had been retired from the casket business for many years.

Mr. Morris was active in church affairs. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed Church, Bangor and the church consistory. He was chairman of the property committee and a member of the Christian education and insurance committees. He was a deacon and a former elder of the church.

Mr. Morris was delegate primarius of St. John’s Church to the East Penn Synod of the Evangelical and Reformed Church.

He was treasurer of the Churchill Cemetery Association. Martins creek and a member of a church committee in charge of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed Church Cemetery, Bangor.

Born in Lower Mount Bethel Township he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Morris. He had lived all his life in the Bangor Area.

His closest relatives are two nieces, Mrs. Joseph Yetter and Mrs. Walter Mack, both of Bangor R.D.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Stoddard Funeral Home, Bangor.
