Moses Kester
As was announced in yesterday's issue, Moses Kester, an aged resident of South Easton, died suddenly at about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He was engaged at Stewart & Co.'s wire mill and while at work there, was seized with a paralytic stroke and fell to the floor. Some fellow-employees picked him up to carry him home, but he died on the way.

Moses Kester was born in the upper part of Pennsylvania, in 1812, and was therefore seventy-one years of age. He had resided in this vicinity for nearly thirty-five years, of which twenty-six had been spent in South Easton. Although a tanner by trade, during the above-mentioned period he had followed canal boating and lock tending, until twelve years ago, when he entered the employ of Stewart & Co., where he remained until his death. He leaves a wife and three children, two married.
