Francis M. Moyer, World War I Vet
Francis Mansfield Moyer, Easton R.D. 4, died this morning at
this home after a long illness. He was 64.
Born Nov. 18, 1896, in Williams Township, he was a son of
the late S. Oscar Moyer and Anna Coken Moyer. His mother died
last Friday.
Mr. Moyer was a retired employee of the hear treatment department
at Ingersoll-Rand Co. He retired five years ago because of
illness. He served in the Army during World War I.
Mr. Moyer was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1913.
He was valedictorian of this class. He was graduated from the
old Lerch Academy.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Morrison, Easton, and
Mrs. Ada Lippey, Easton R. D. 4, and a brother, Arlington Moyer,
Allentown.
The funeral will be private. |
