Harry T. Odenwelder, Formerly of Wilson
Harry T. Odenwelder, 66, of Northampton R. D. 1, a former resident
of Wilson, died yesterday afternoon in Sacred heart Hospital, Allentown.
He had been in failing health for the last three years.
Mr. Odenwelder was born in Easton on March 230, 1894, a son of the
late Tilghman and Emma Edelman Odenwelder. He resided at 1600 Butler
St. until two years ago, when he moved to the home of nephew, Stanley
Werner, at the Northampton R.D. address.
During World Ar II he was employed by the Redington Power Co., Whitehouse.
He previously was employed by the Mack Printing Co., Wilson, for about
five years.
Mr. Odenwelder was of the United Church of Christ faith. He was a
social member of the Lester W. Pfeffer American Legion Post, Wilson,
and an honorary member of the Wilson Fire Department.
His only survivor is a brother, Jacob D. Odenwelder, Northampton R.
D. 1.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Ashton Funeral
Home, Easton.
