Mrs. Florence C. Read, 79, of 55 Broadway, Bangor, formerly
of Blairstown and Hainesburg, N.J., died Monday in Easton Hospital.
She was the wife of Raymond Read Sr. of Snydersville.
She last worked as a machine operator for Mount Bethel Manufacturing
Co. until retiring 16 years ago.
Born in Blairstown, she was a daughter of the late Marshall
and Amelia (Chambers) Parr.
Surviving with her husband are five sons, four daughters,
three sisters, ; 42 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Four sons, Raymond Jr., Edward, Harry and Chester, preceded
her in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Reed Funeral
Home, Johnsonville. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday. |
