Milton L. Parr, farmer for 25 years
Milton L. Parr, 88, of Blairstwon, died Tuesday, September
22, in his home after a long illness.
He worked as a farmer for the Shotwell Farm for more than
25 years before retiring in 1970.
Born in Belvidere, he was a son of the late Gravoer C. and
Carrie Green Parr.
He was a member of the Knowlton Presbyterian Church in Knowlton
Township.
His wife, Melva, died in 1995.
He is survivned by two daughters, a son, two brothers,
a sister, six grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Knowlton
Presbyterian Church, 117 Delaware road, Knowlton, Township.
Call 12:30 p.m. Friday to time of services in the church. Burial
will be in Hope Moravian Cemetery in Hope.
The Newbaker Funeral Home, Route 94, Blairstown, is in charge
of arrangements. |
