Howard F. Piatt, 91, of Brakeley Gardens, Lopatcong Township,
N.J., died Sunday, Jan. 12, in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg.
He was the husband of Martha M. (Lanterman) Piatt and the late
Helen K. (Barber) Piatt.
He was a machine operator for the former Taylor Wharton Co.,
Palmer Township, for many years until retiring in 1972.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late William and
Elizabeth Martha (Raub) Piatt.
He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg.
He was a 32nd degree Mason in Phillipsburg Lodge 52.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, *****., wife of Bill E. Serfass
of Allentown; stepson, **** of Henryville; stepdaughter,
**** wife of Chauncy Mullikin of Bangor; two grandchildren,
two great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. next Tuesday, Rupell Funeral Home, 46 Memorial
Parkway, Phillipsburg. Call 10-11 a.m. next Tuesday.
