Stella A. Ettinger, 93, formerly of Richmond Road, Bangor,
died Thursday, Aug. 26, in the Slate Belt Nursing and Rehabilitation
Center, Bangor R.1. She was the wife of David Ettinger, who
died in 1990.
She and her husband owned and operated a farm and dairy business
from their home for many years.
Born in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Paul T. and
Mary (Fry) Pysher.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Stone Church,
and its women's organizations.
She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star,
Shutanka Chapter, Pen Argyl.
Survivors: Son, Paul E. of Bangor, three grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Reed-Gaffney Funeral Home, 4 Lillian
Lane, Johnsonville. Cal 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
