Mrs. Arthur B. Howell
Mrs. Clara M. Howell, wife of Arthur B. Howell, of Forks Township, Easton R.D. 2, died last night in Betts' Hospital, to which she was admitted September 14 for surgical treatment. She was born April 26, 1885, in Lower Mt. Bethel township, daughter of the late Hiram and Elizabeth Gruver Rasley, and resided in Forks township the last seven years.

Mrs. Howell was an acitve member of Mt. Zion Evanglical Reformed Church, Martins Creek, and the Sunday School of that church. She was secretary of her Sunday school class for 26 years, and was given a gold seal for perfect attendance for 20 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Russell Garis, of Easton R.D. 2; a sister, Mrs. Martin Williams, of Martins Creek, and two brothers, Herbert O. Rasley, of Bangor R.D. 3 and Charles H. Rasley, of Nazareth.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Schmidt Mortuary, Belvidere and Fairview streets, Nazareth, with the Rev. J. O. Reagle, D.ED., officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Forks Township
