Lloyd H. Richards, 78, of , Coopersburg, formerly of Bethlehem, died
Wednesday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of the late
Eva (Gable) Carl Richards and Viola (Norconk) Richards.
He was supervisor at the Homer Research Laboratories of Bethlehem
Steel Corp. for 15 years before retiring in 1978. Previously, he worked
in food service for Bethlehem Steel.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Ward and Julia (Clause)
Richards.
He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Center Valley.
Survivors: Son, Thomas A., and a brother, Vincent, both of Bethlehem;
sister, Eleanor Engling, residence unknown; stepson, Harold W. Carl,
and a stepdaughter, Faye Tirpak, both of Coopersburg; four grandchildren,
three step-grandchildren and three step-great- grandchildren. He was
predeceased by a daughter, Judy Boccabella.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday
