Olive M. Evans, 78, of Riegelsville, died Saturday, Jan.
20, in her home. She was the wife of Raymond H. Evans. They
were married 59 years last June.
She worked in the laboratory of the former Riegel Paper
Corp., 1943-46. She previously was a reporter for the Easton
Express.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Howard and
Edna (Fox) Searfoss.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riegelsville.
She was a past president of the American Legion Post 950
Auxiliary, Riegelsville; past secretary of the Parent-Teacher
Association, Easton, and a former Cub Scout leader.
Survivors: Husband; sons, sister,
three grandchildren, three
step-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home,
327 Easton Road, Riegelsville. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
